My name is Hasan Kilani,

I am a specialist in Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion with over 13 years of experience advancing equitable systems and advocating for underrepresented communities. As a writer, activist, and humanitarian consultant, I design strategic initiatives, deliver impactful training, and speak publicly on issues of justice, identity, and power, always with the aim of fostering meaningful social and behavioral change.

I hold a Master’s degree in Transnational Queer Feminist Politics from SOAS, University of London, which strengthened my commitment to intersectional justice and critical global perspectives on gender and sexuality. My work is deeply rooted in the MENA region, informed by lived experience and professional engagement across its complex social, cultural, and political realities.

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with United Nations agencies, international NGOs, and government bodies in Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Sudan, Syria, the UK, and the US. These partnerships allowed me to bridge grassroots voices with senior policymakers, navigating the intersections of identity, displacement, and power while ensuring that change is grounded in context, community, and nuance.
